Summer Climbing Road Trip

Announcing the Summer Climbing Road Trip, July 13 to 20, to Northern New Mexico. This year, we’ll be visiting areas primarily in the Taos area…plus possibly the White Rock area.

Some of the areas we plan to visit are Tres Piedras, Camoles Cayon, El Rito, Utopian Vista, etc. Some of these crags have enjoyed top billing for all around vertical action. Plan to join us as we check them out for sport, trad and top-rope.

The Summer Climbing Road Trip is being presented by the Climbers for Christ, Texoma Chapter as an on mission climbing experience. We’ll plan to camp in NFS and BLM campgrounds. Most of our meals will be in camp although we will sample the local cuisine as well. The trip will be Saturday (July 13th to Saturday the 20th), a total of 8 days with 6 days for climbing including 1 rest day for checking out the local area, etc.
