Join us.

Climbers for Christ is primarily a volunteer-run ministry. If you are excited about starting a local movement or interested in roles that support the headquarters office, we’d love to hear from you!

We are also seeking to grow our HQ staff in Bend, OR (we currently operate with one staff person!). Any available staffing opportunities are listed below along with open volunteer positions around the country.

Thanks for your interest in joining us as we live the love of Jesus in the climbing community

The Operations Manager will serve alongside the Executive Director in Bend, Oregon. This is our first step in growing our staff beyond the ‘one-person show’ and we are stoked!

We’re looking for a Jesus-following, missionally-minded individual who has a love for organization & systems, works well on their own, and has excellent attention to detail. They should be gifted in multi-tasking, willing to adapt alongside the organization (especially as we shift from one HQ staff to two!), and have a heart to learn and serve. If you’re the type who loves to improve systems and manage the ‘businessy’ side of things, then we’d love to hear from you. Check out and download the job posting!

How to Apply:

Submit a cover letter, resume or  any questions to admin@climbersforchrist.org.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.  Initial application deadline: January 14th, 2024.

Climbers for Christ is looking to fill two open positions on the Board of Directors. We specifically need persons with professional experience in finance (e.g. CPA, Treasurer, CFO) and law (non-profit law preferred, but any legal background is of benefit).

The CFC Board of Directors exists to protect, advance & bring clarity to the mission and vision of Climbers for Christ by use of their time, energy, resources, and networks. The Board meets multiple times per year to provide guidance and support to the Executive Director, approve the budget, look over finances, provide accountability, and help with any big decisions such as policy, staffing, fundraising, allocation of funds for sponsorships, major projects, etc. Board members are expected to participate in committees (and other initiatives, as needed) that meet outside of quarterly board meetings.

Board members are selected for their devotion to Christ, dedication to CFC, capacity to serve, and for unique experience, expertise, and perspective.

If interested, and to learn more about our expectations for board members and our process for nominations, please submit a statement of interest and references to: jed@climbersforchrist.org

We’re taking advantage of the winter season to update our process for the application and onboarding of local leaders. Check back in January for updates!
